Request for Postponement of Election Law Amendment

Phnom Penh, June 26, 2023We, the civil society organizations, associations, and unions listed below, are very concerned about the amendment of the Election Law in the run-up to the upcoming National Election. The amendment was made in a hasty manner. It did not go through consultation with relevant stakeholders, including civil society organizations, which is a departure from the democratic path that requires their input.
